A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
From learning to code,
to bringing people together.
Before Occasi had a name, it had a reason: a family wedding.
At the time, I was working in finance and learning to code. Then a family member came to me with a request: could I build a wedding invitation that would also keep track of who was coming?
It gave the code a purpose beyond the screen. This was an invitation to a real celebration, for people who mattered. Something personal, with a practical job to do.
Then came the questions. Who made this? How can we have one? The invitation had started a conversation of its own.
I helped a few more couples, and what began as a family favour grew into something I wanted to take further. There was room for invitations that felt special to receive, without making the planning harder for the people sending them.
That idea became Occasi: a place where the first impression and the everyday details belong together. The anticipation of opening an invitation. The relief of having the replies in one place. More room to enjoy the occasion you are bringing everyone together for.
At its heart, Occasi still comes back to that first request. Make it personal. Make it useful. Make it something people want to share.
